THE CHALLENGE
Create an introduction of the brand to the LA market highlighting the two major elements of Uchi. Food is one of our favorite things to tell stories about. The colors, the texture, the emotions and memories it can stir are powerful. Combine all of those elements under a world class brand like Uchi and we were in heaven.

THE SOLUTION
We gathered the team to create visuals to focus on color, sound, pace and texture. Visuals on the verge of abstraction lead the charge to challenge the viewers mind as to what is actually possible through a dining experience. Our aim was to push the boundaries and ask the viewer “is this actually a dish or a work of art?” It’s both.

We created 3 main films: The Perfect Bite, The Guest Experience and a Combo Edit as well as numerous social cuts and short features.
