Watch this first!

First of all, THANK YOU for this opportunity to work together to make some amazing films. We love creating work that is meaningful, and highlighting hard-working North Texans with the end goal of giving jobs to more Texans is super cool. We are excited to bring our experience and expertise to this project to really communicate what a great place Andrews is to work, by highlighting the Core Values that drives your business.

Message Goals:

Our documentary leaning filmmaking style really lends to creating real and authentic work. We aim to highlight the true personalities and talent of the great employees of Andrews and not manufacture any emotions. Our background has taught us to get shots right the first time, and we operate in a very unobtrusive way to let real life scenarios play out. Sure, we may ask the featured employee to unload the same case a couple of times to ensure we got the best angle but we strive to be quick and efficient in our workflow.

Our work is also very polished and professional. This will really allow us to show the best in class equipment, facilities, processes, safety standards and culture in the best and most visually attractive way.

Finally, we are great storytellers. Our main goal is to create films that make any viewer walk away with the understanding of Andrews culture and the knowledge that Andrews is a fantastic place to work. We can be involved in the scripting and writing process to help in crafting compelling storylines.

Clay Hervey - Director (storytelling wizard)Clear vision and passion for directing our crew is critical to the success of each project. This is where we discover the heart of the story and craft films worth sharing.

Project Example - Thirsty Bro Brewing Co

Thirsty Bro Brewing Co. is an independent family owned full production microbrewery and tap room located in historic downtown Royse City, Texas.

Saltbox was charged with crafting Thirsty Bro’s first ever canning process highlight. We shot for 1 day on location at their brewery. The result was a video that features Thirsty Bro’s excitement about bringing their beer in cans to the community and to the quality of their product.

This example showcases the use of fast uptempo editing to keep the energy up, as well as combining interviews with authentic B-roll that supports the story structure.

Project Example - Kainos Capital

Kainos Capital is a private equity firm focused on the development of growth-oriented, dynamic, and strategically relevant companies in the food and consumer products sector.

Saltbox partnered with Connective Agency to craft a series of videos that highlighted Kainos company and culture. The main film was designed to recruit new business and be a portal to their processes and strategy.

This example shows authentic b-roll footage captured in warehouses and distribution centers combined with interviews to help drive the story.

Project Example - Stories from the heart (a CivicBrand series)

CivicBrand works with cities, economic development departments and chambers and districts to develop branding, marketing and public engagement strategies. They help communities rediscover who they are and tell their stories.

Saltbox partnered with CivicBrand to craft a series of videos for the city of Park Rapids, MN that highlight the stories of real people living their lives full of purpose. The videos in this series highlighted different members of the community including small business owners, medical professionals, retirees, and families.

This example showcases the use of a video as part of a series as well as storytelling that drives desire (in this case the desire to move to small town Minnesota).
